Terms and Conditions of Trade

1. Definitions

  • “Company”: The Complete Bros Pty Ltd, trading as The Complete Bros – Pest Control.
  • “Client”: The individual or entity engaging the services of the Company.
  • “Services”: Pest control treatments and related services provided by the Company.

2. Service Agreement

  • The Company agrees to provide the Services as outlined in the agreed service proposal or quotation.
  • All Services will be conducted professionally, using safe and approved pest control products.

3. Booking and Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or the Company’s website.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once acknowledged by the Company.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation by Client:
    • Cancellations made with less than 2 business days’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of $100.
    • Cancellations made with less than 1 business day’s notice may incur a fee up to the full service cost.
    • Cancellation of any termite barrier or works over $1,000 within 2 days of the booked commencement date will incur a fee equal to the customer’s deposit amount.
  • Rescheduling:
    • Clients may reschedule appointments without penalty if notice is given at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled service.
    • Rescheduling with less than 2 business days’ notice may incur a fee as outlined above.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the Services, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, and other methods specified at the time of booking.
  • Late payments may incur additional charges or interest as specified in the invoice.
  • A deposit of at least 10% is required for all termite barriers and any services over $1,000 in value.
  • The deposit amount is at the discretion of the business and may be up to 50% if required by the Company.
  • No works will commence without this deposit.
  • If the Client has financed the service through one of the Company’s approved finance partners, no further payments are required prior to the completion of the works.
  • If the Client chooses to pay cash for the service, full payment must be made on the day of service before work commences or any injection/treatment is applied at the property.

6. Service Guarantee and Warranty

  • The Company guarantees the effectiveness of its treatments for the period specified at the time of service.
  • If pest issues persist within the guarantee period, the Client may request a follow-up treatment at no additional cost, subject to:
    • The warranty covers only the treated areas and the specific pests addressed.
    • The Client must adhere to post-treatment guidelines provided by the Company.

7. Termite Barriers and Warranty

  • The Company offers termite barrier warranties based on the chemical provider’s warranty, which ranges from 8-10 years, depending on the chemical used.
  • To maintain a valid warranty, the Client must arrange for a termite inspection every 12 months (each financial year), which comes at an additional cost.
  • The warranty becomes void if the Client introduces any new conditions that could allow termites to enter the property without contacting the installed barrier.
  • All warranty claims must be made through the Company.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide access to the property at the agreed service time.
  • Ensure the area is prepared as instructed prior to the appointment.
  • Follow all safety and post-treatment guidelines provided by the Company.

9. Liability

  • The Company will take reasonable care during service delivery.
  • The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Services, except where negligence is proven.

10. Health and Safety

  • The Client must ensure that all persons and pets are kept away from treated areas as advised.
  • The Company will provide safety instructions before and after the service.

11. Changes to Terms

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
  • Any changes will be communicated to the Client and will take effect immediately upon notice.
